Birds

Tattooed these feathered friends on Colin's chest today.  They are a traditional interpretation of a myna bird, (a common yet invasive species in Hawaii), and a loon, (the state bird here in Minnesota).  Added are some additional bits of flora and fauna relative to the corresponding bird.  The birds are cover-ups of black old english lettering.  Both Colin and I are very glad that the text is no longer a part of his chest.

Rachel

A little work done on Rachel G.'s arm today.  It is a slow-going process of filling in the flowers on her arm and we have been at it for almost two years now.  Today we concentrated on the hibiscus flowers on near the elbow.  I am leaving this as a sneak peak with complete photos once the tattoo is done.

Sandra

Sandra visited today for her annual tattoo extravaganza.  Being that she lives in Denmark, our visits are planned well in advance so we can make the most of her limited time here.  This visit we did a small touch-up on the foot tattoo from the year prior, did a new foot tattoo, (a cover-up), and a rib piece; all to completion in one day.  Whew! Great job Sandra, I can't wait for next time. Also, a "thank-you" is due to Melissa for being in charge of entertaining us and keeping our spirits up during the long nine hours, job well done!

Wooly Booly

A completed wooly mammoth on Rachel's side.  This picture is fresh and low resolution so I will be sure to repost with healed pictures to better illustrate the tonal qualities, or add some different pictures of Wooly to the new portfolio.  Completed in two short sessions.
