My latest obsession; pictographs! Especially of the prehistoric Scandinavian variety. These are a reference illustration in a book I am using for a research paper I am writing for my archaeology class. The book is a very interesting read and worth checking out: Ambiguous Images: Gender and Rock Art by Kelley A. Hays-Gilpin. I didn't ask for permission to post the illustrations on my blog but I'm hoping the plug for the book with supersede the trouble I might get into for posting the pics.
