Nat's clock
Tattooed this tattered clock on Nat today, her first. A black a grey piece on her upper arm. I'll have to add healed pictures as the healing of a black and grey tattoo allows the tonal qualities to blend a lot more as well as not appear so dark. Nat shares my theories on the institution of time as a human created measurement system, necessary but worthy of criticism.

Lady slipper numero 3!
This is the third lady slipper tattoo I have had the pleasure of tattooing since announcing to the universe that I had only done one other lady slipper tattoo. This tattoo corresponds with the last lady slipper tattoo I did on Nikki's mom. Today it was Nikki's turn. We did this on her upper arm. The colors are a bit imaginary, but I think the lady slipper idea is still conveyed.

Joe's Bears
| Joe's high-fiving bears. |
Joe's high-fiving bear tattoo was started and completed today in a six hour session. This was a custom tattoo based on a graphic for one of his favorite bands, but moreover a tribute to his love of bears. To complete the half-sleeve I added some pine boughs and a mountain scene in the background. This is a very stylized tattoo, which I feel is an appropriate conglomeration of ideas to suit the imagery.

Pin-ups!
Another tattoo for Dave. A pin-up to adorn more of the outside of his upper arm. This gal was tattooed in the traditional style sporting a checkered flag and some devilish accoutrement's.

Eagles and Flags
Here is a tattoo I did on an old client of mine's father. Ryan's dad, Chuck, wanted something very American and this was what we came up with. He decided on eagles and flags and the very traditional imagery seemed appropriate for the occasion. This was Chuck's first tattoo.

Angie's Leg
Angie's poor little leg was so swollen after this session. I was happy to oblige when she asked me to tattoo a traditional woman's face and roses, covering most of the outside of her thigh. This picture doesn't really do the piece justice but I will be including healed photos of this piece in my new book. If I am correct, the piece took us only about four hours with breaks. We had lots of fun laughing and chatting during the session. Angie recommended some shop's in Portland, (her former place of residence), that I just may have to do a guest spot in some day!
