I just had to take a picture of these little turtles while picking up dog food at the store...maybe I'll find a use for that fish tank after all....

Polar Bear Hello

Here's a glimpse of one of the poor polar bears in the new and "improved" polar bear exhibit at the Como Zoo...I still feel bad for these guys.  

A Whale of a Tattoo

I tattooed this Moby Dick-esque tattoo (notably not a white whale but a black one) on Matt today.  I am really loving this piece, it is intended to have a wood-block print feel to it.  We completed this in a six hour session.

Near Lutsen...

From the cross-country ski trail at dusk..skied the loop into the darkness several miles while silently snowing.  Beautiful.
