Marla

My favorite tattoo of Tuesday.  This is a traditional, or old-school, styled heart, (completely custom as always), on a client who I tattooed long ago, who strayed and has returned to me after a number of years!  Yay!  Don't be confused, I still do not tattoo names of significant others on customers, unless that significant other happens to be a dog.  For Marla, the basset hound...who can't love that!! Thanks Al!

Put Another Shark on the Barbie

A tattoo on Travis, who is going through a tough time with the ladies.  This tattoo is an ode to his promise not to be with any fake women anymore.  I have been recruited to find him a date....any takers?
The sharks depict him and his son, (a complete doll and shark fan), dismembering the Barbie.  I have had the privilege of tattooing Travis before; a father and son zombie tattoo, in his and his son's likeness.  Awh!

Work in Progress...

Tattooed so much today!  In addition to running the race-whew!  Here is a picture of what is in progress on Sam1, I had the privilege of repairing a tattoo on her friend, Sam2, before tattooing the flowers.  I'm really looking forward to coloring these flowers...One more session and we should have it done.  She sat better than anyone I have tattooed on the ribs, ever!  It really makes a difference in the quality of the tattoo when the customer can sit still.  Thanks Sam!

Pinstriping Tattoo

A tattoo on a new client, Tony.  A really fun guy and quite the gear-head.  We had a really enjoyable conversation while working on his back.  The Von Dutch eyeball was existing, hence, why I "Xed" it out.  I did, however, re-outline it.  The pin striping is completely custom and one of my first attempts on skin.  I'm pleased with the way it turned out and hope I'll be seeing more of Tony in the chair.

Dead Bird Tattoo

I did this tattoo on a lovely woman, Heather, today, my last tattoo of the day...She has quite the story to accompany the symbolism of the tattoo.  I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working on her....

A New Tattoo On Laura Lou

Here's a little fun one I got to do on Laura Lou's foot, our receptionist, today.  A "switchblade comb," done in the traditional style, with a twist, my favorite.   Another monday fun day.
The cherry blossom and petal were existing, and not done by me.  I re-outlined the petal, as it was a bit worn and intersected with the rest of the design.
Chek 'er out.
