Seth's Oak Leaf

An Oak leaf tattoo for a new baby named Oak.  This black and grey oak leaf on Seth's ribcage in homage to his brand new baby boy.  He sat amazingly and the experience was a pleasure.  The picture is fresh, so the redness is irritation, although it seems to add some unexpected realism to the tattoo.

A Work In Progress Teaser and a Crowd Pleaser

Quite a full day for this lady.  I have two tattoos to report.   The first is a piece I am really stoked on finishing, featuring a shark versus octopus battle scene tattoo, (inspiration not forthcoming from the Lorenzo Llamas genius Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus).  We accomplished a lot in the time allotted, with shading and line-work done.
Who doesn't love a classic?  A friend, came in for a long overdue tattoo.  An ode to his deceased mother, a winged heart.  Besides being a great fellow with a sweet family, Greg aka; "photodog," is an astounding photographer.  Please check out the link to view his site on DeviantART.  If you don't, Greg's ass-whooping, roller derbying, skull crushing wife may give you a beating you deserve, courtesy of the North Star Roller Girls of course.

Another Pin-Up...

Met a lovely gal, Jesse, who was interested in a pin-up girl tattoo.   Eager to add another one of my favorites to my portfolio, I abided.  There may be a motorcycle tank painted with the likeness of my creation in the future as well!  Can't wait!

Another pic of Evan's Tattoo

This is the other half, where you can see the rose that frames the side...Script and roses, can't go wrong!

Northeast Palace

The NE Palace is affectionately dubbed a "dive bar" by most standards, but not lacking in character or the opportunity for a great evening.  As of very recently, a man named Mike has the ambition to add more to your NE Palace experience, (which by most online reviews is quite varied, described as an "authentic Northeast bar ," to "ooga-booga kitsch ," to bizarre ).  Mike is adding, or , from my understanding, taking over and reinvigorating the kitchen and menu, (even featuring some vegetarian options).   Mike approached me a couple weeks ago to design the logo for the kitchen and I was able to produce something he liked.  Expect a new menu ad lunch specials coming soon.  I just learned that they have karaoke, so I will be making my way there some saturday evening in the not so distant future.  The Palace is located on the corner of 4th and Lowry in, of course, Nordeast.

A Little Something...

Tattooed a log time customer, Dan Thunder today.  Besides an extensive tattoo on his right arm, I have also done memorial pieces for his moms on either inside forearm.  His adopted mom died a year or thereabouts ago, and his birth mother just passed.  We added the dates and wings to the existing tattoo....RIP Cecile.  The picture is poor quality sue to the fact that I keep leaving my camera at home, this was taken with Photobooth.

Two Headed Eagle

I had the pleasure of tattooing a two-headed eagle on Andy's arm...I forgot my camera at home and had to resort to taking a photo of the tattoo on the Photobooth program on my computer.  I couldn't wait to post again .  I'll update with better photos in the near future.
