This is a semi-healed picture posted after the actual tattoo was done.  We completed the tattoo on November 28th.  The tattoo is a hybrid American-Mexian eagle, (from the US and Mexican flags, eagles don't look different based on political borders nor do they even know what political borders are)...The tattoo is based on his heritage and love of punk rock in its resemblance to the Ramones logo eagle as well.  Check out the link to his band; Ponx Attax!

Just a quick note about holiday hours, as the fall semester comes to an end I will have extra availability after December 15, 2011. Here's a rundown of some schedule changes:

More Smilies for Ian

I added yet more background smilies to Ian's arm today.  This marks our third smile making endeavor together.  The first recorded here.  Stranger yet than a body filled with smilies is that last night I was surfing blogs in-between drawing and I found a picture of Ian's arm on another person's blog, completely randomly who stated that he didn't do the tattoos on Ian's arm, but he wished he did.  How strange!

Marc's Pin-up

I am really excited about this pin-up that I tattooed on Marc today.  The woman is intended to look like his wife, Kelly, (I modeled her face after a picture of her which I won't post to respect her privacy, her body is a completely custom creation based on classic pin-up girl poses and art).  But Marc and Kelly both seemed to be really happy with the finished product, and me too!  It reminded me a bit of Desmond's tattoo while I was doing it, funny how things come in waves, both pin-up girls resembling their wives without being portraits on their right shoulder to boot!  

I then tattooed a "regular" client Brian who added onto his patchwork arm with the addition of an eagle in black-and-grey, (below) and a cross, (not pictured).

Natalie's Key

 

I tattooed this key and swirlies on Natalie today.  The word, (love), was existing on her arm and the key was intended to work around the existing tattoo and incorporate the two together.  Natalie is an aspiring make-up artist and a sweet gal to work on, I wish her all the best in her future endeavors.  I posted the two pictures of her tattoo to better illustrate the whole piece, which is slightly obscured by the light in both photos, but together make a clear image.

Jam-Packing Saturdays!

    

Part two of the day consisted of tattooing this lovely gal on Desmond who traveled all the way from Saskatchewan, Canada to get tattooed!  Desmond was joined by his adorable wife Sam who kept us company during the all-day session. 

Tattoos for the Ladies

 Tattooed this Dia Los Muertos lady on Donna today, completed in one four hour session. 

I then added onto Sue's lady slipper tattoo which you can view pre-background here.  The addition of background is supposed to resemble the northern lights with some orbs, there are also some numbers near her ankle and an acorn! Interestingly enough, after our consultation for the add-on to her tattoo there was an exceptional display of northern lights seen across the northern hemisphere, coincidence?  We agreed it's not! Three consultation and a touch-up too, whew!  Productive day!

Tami

Tami got this blossoming branch across her leg this evening, adding to her continuously growing collection of floral and nature themed tattoos!

Fearless

This tattoo was completed today on Adrien.  Hipstamatic photo.  He didn't cry or flinch so thus far I can confirm that he is indeed fearless, let's hope he remains that way!  

Camping Tattoo

I finished this camping tattoo for Jessie, (ODB), to complete her camping tattoo arm.  The picture is a little dark so I had to enhance it a little to showcase the detail.  I love tattooing pinup's and anything related to camping makes me instantly happy-thanks Jessie!
