Milwaukee
Milwaukee Museum of Art, where I viewed the "Posters of Paris" exhibit and got some great books and inspiration.
Holy buttons...at the M.M.O.A., I thought I was inundated with buttons for our button bouquets the other day.
Near Lake Michigan looking up and towards downtown.

Button Bouquets
I made these button flowers with a friend for her wedding bouquets, how cute! So many more buttons to go, I love the idea though and had to share it...

Anita's Back
I finally finished Anita's back today. The tattoo encompasses one cover-up and a redo/repair tattoo. The concept is the incorporation of victorian flowers and music, while working with the existing tattoo and completing the cover-up.

Working Over Time...
I tattooed Kelly this morning, it was the only day that worked for both os us in our busy schedules. I added the peonies to the bottom of her arm. The above tattoo was existing, I tattooed it on her some three or four years ago.
I didn't spend the whole 4th of July working...I got to go tubing down the Rum River with some friends and watch the fireworks too.
Happy 4th of July!

Kayaking the Apostle Islands
Not for the faint of heart, I kayaked the Apostle Islands with a group for four days this weekend. It was a trip of a lifetime and I can't wait to go back next summer. I'll post more pictures when I get them from the other group members. I only brought my phone which died after the first day.
Lake Superior at dusk.
The water turned red after the flooding rains in the region from the iron rich soil. It looked like kayaking in blood water in some areas.
The sea kayaks...
