Dan's Backpiece

Did some coloring on Dan's backpiece today.  Back to the illness-free world.  A long way to go on this one, but things are coming along well so far.

Publication!

Looks like we are famous now.  Last August, our then crew posed for a magazine spread that would feature our shop.  Looks like we made it in!  You can see us in Rod and Custom magazine and read the article on the shop.

Tattoo for Dad

A day I thought would never happen. I tattooed my father.  He chose the image of the "Love" painting by Robert Indiana.  He was an excellent client and is already discussing his second tattoo.  The picture of us together is me demonstrating a fist of solidarity for my dad's toughness during his tattoo.

Fish Tattoo

A client came to me asking for a fish tattoo, (not my normal specialty, but I am capable of creating custom designs of any sort).  After I drew the image I realized it closely resembled a fellow tattoo artists flash; Brandon Holt.  Unconsciously, I had impressed the image of his fish flash into my brain and when it came time to draw the image, I regurgitated what I had established as an icon for a walleye tattoo from my image lexicon.  I made my client aware of the situation and it's resemblance to the fellow tattoo artists flash but he loved the image and decided to go froward with that tattoo.  And here it sits!
