Stacy and Friend

My hair dresser extraordinaire, Stacy, (who can be found at Sweeny Todd's Salon in Uptown), got a matching tattoo with her friend from San Francisco today.  The tattoo is inspired by a floral element from the artist Sylvia Ji's paintings which often feature beautifully dark women with Dia Los Muertos ornamentation on their faces and elaborate, bouffant hair.  Both gals got the matching rose tattoos on their feet.

Old Treasures?

I found this painting I did in maybe 2001 of a robot while purging my home of things I no longer need.  It made me smile.

Stacy's Back

My cousin Stacy came to visit with her daughter, friends and her brother, (and my cousin), Tom.  We started a backpiece on her; a gypsy dancer.  Stacy wanted the skirt fabric to encase her existing tattoos on her lower back.

Brittany's anklet

A tattoo based on a Tiffany bracelet on Brittany's ankle, with her children's initials on the charm.

Mom and Dad

I did these both in a day session for a client.  A tribute to her parents.

Cody's Arm

Finally finished this half sleeve after a long hiatus.  Cody's arm is now colored and complete.
